Job Description:
Modelling and simulation of building energy by software tools (e.g. OpenStudio, EnergyPlus, or IES, etc.) for analysis and optimization of building performance, including thermal heat gains, solar access, daylighting, glare, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation system, etc.
Job Requirements:
Experience with building energy modeling and simulation software (e.g. OpenStudio, EnergyPlus, or IES, etc)
Background with thermal engineering, building, and architecture engineering
Understanding of ACMV systems/buildings and operation and energy consumption
Understanding of building drawings, sections, details, and specification
Good in communication and technical writing
Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, problem-solving, and modeling skills, as well as work independently and a team player
