We would like to invite you to submit an abstract for the ‘Shock & Blast’ session under Track 1: Dynamic Behavior of Materials. This symposium is part of the 2020 SEM Annual Conference & Exposition on Experimental and Applied Mechanics (Orlando, FL, USA, June 8-11, 2020).
The ‘Shock & Blast’ session is intended to provide a forum to present and discuss recent developments in experimental methods, analysis and high-rate response of materials and structures subjected to shock or blast loading. All types of materials and structures are of interest (metals, ceramics, glass, composites, foams, sandwich, concrete, biological tissues, etc.).
Please submit a short abstract (200 words or less) by the deadline, October 21, 2019. Please indicate the session organizer by entering either of the organizers’ “Last Name, First Name” in your submission to ensure inclusion in the right track.
