Kmomeni's picture

Several Ph.D. positions are open for Spring/Fall 2020 in the Advanced Hierarchical Materials by Design Lab at Louisiana Tech University on multiscale modeling of additively manufactured parts and processes. During this project, the candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with NASA research centers, national labs, and different universities across the nation.

The candidates must have earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields (applicants with an MSc will be given priority) and have a solid background in theoretical and computational mechanics. Having knowledge of continuum mechanics, finite element modeling, molecular dynamics simulations, and a programming language is a plus.

The applicants should send the following materials to kmomeni@latech.edu and put Ph.D. Applicant in the subject of the email
• Cover letter (summarizing their background, achievements, and motivations)
• The CV (including list related courses, publications, presentations, projects, and GRE/TOEFL scores)
