Abaqus/CAE version 6.6

 Dear all,

For my final year project, I've done the 3D model of a test fixture which is used for the compression testing of a specimen.

When I apply a downward vertical displacement to top Slider B, eventually the 2-slider linkage mechanism will cause the bottom Slider A to move horizontally and to compress the cube shaped specimen.

I've a problem with making the mechanism work. For instance, 2 rods are connected to the top Slider B by the use of a pin. I want to apply a downward displacement to the top surface of the top slider B.

I would be very grateful if anyone could advise me on making the mechanism work. I've done all the interactions but I think I may be missing boundary conditions or constraints.

I've attached a word file showing my model. Please have a look. I can also send the cae file and the jnl file for hands-on try.
