Hi
I am doing bending analysis of threaded connections using the axisymmetric elements with asymmetric deformation (CAXA elements).These special elements allow analyzing certain 3-d deformations using a 2-d axisymmetric mesh. The CAXA element having one fourier mode has 16 integration points (four points at every 90 degrees around the axis of revolution). This is where the problem lies, this elements are not available from grafical menu of ABAQUS,I do not know any informatin about how to impose this elements on my model?
