The issue you are studying is very interesting and crucial to fuel cell. Combining with ABAQUS with your experiment data is of great help on realizing the critical issue on membrance thickness. The paper I found provides a model for Ni thin film. Is it possible to apply this model equation to your system and compare the results along with that you found from ABAQUS and experiment?
