I have an open position for a Post-doctoral researcher in the area of biomimetics and novel ceramic composite armor designs, starting immediately.
- Required background: Mechanics of materials, dynamic failure and numerical modeling.
- Preferred but not required: background in experimental mechanics, biological / biomimetic materials.
Project in partnership with industry, and in collaboration with shock physics and material synthesis experts
