PhD Dissertation Position in Structural and Computational Solid Mechanics at the University of Notre Dame
We have PhD dissertation openings in areas related to structural and computational solid mechanics. The successful candidate will join a vibrant group of graduate students and post-docs working in a variety of projects in Computational Physics and Structural SL. A Bachelor's or equivalent degree in engineering or science in a related discipline is required. MSc and publications in international journals is highly desirable. Other requirements are TOEFL and GRE. The duration of the assistantship will be upto 5 years.Benefits include: a monthly stipend (including summer salary), tuition coverage, and health insurance. Health Benefits
Medical health insurance have been an issue again this time around because it has been known that employees don't get the health benefits that they should be getting.Workers are paying a lot of money just to get a lot of health benefits but sad to say, they are only getting fewer benefits.This is happening because of the recession and also the difficulty in the job market.There are a lot of people who don't have jobs these days.Also there are a lot of companies that don't accept job applicants for the mean time because of our economy.I hope that the employers will be able to give the right benefits for these workers because these workers are working real hard to provide their families the thngs they needed.They are also working hard so that they will be able to receive a lot of health benefits in the end.I hope that they will be able to fix the problem and these issues as soon as they can.
