confusions about incremental deviatoric stress and incremental plastic strain
HI!
Recently,I read an article about constitutive relation and had confusions about the relation among deviatoric segments, elastic segments and plastic segments. I know the equation Sn+1=Sn+E/(1+ν)*(Δe-Δep) (S denotes deviatoric stress tensor, ν denotes Possion Ratio, Δe=Δε-tr(Δε)/3*I,Δep denotes increment in plastic strain tensor) 【in Y.F. Gao. Modelling Simul. Mater. Sci. Eng. 14 (2006) 1329–1345 doi:10.1088/0965-0393/14/8/004】 is derived from S=2G*e,but why does the term in the parenthesis subtract increment in plastic strain tensor? Does increment in plastic strain have no contribution to incremental deviatoric stress? If incremental plastic strain indeed contributes to increment in deviatoric stress, how to deal with their relation ?Are flow rules the choice?
Can anynoe clarify my confusions? Help please!! Thanks!!
