I am happy to share our recent paper entitled ‘Nonlinear aerothermoelastic analysis of deployable control fin with actuator stiffness subjected to high-speed compressible flows’ published in the journal Acta Mechanica.

I am doing a Co-Simulation in ABAQUS 6.14, where a fluid (water) flows through a Solid Steel. In my first trials, I used a Solid with one consistent hole, and a fluid. Everything worked perfect.
In my second trial the solid is wider and with two holes, so the fluid flows in one hole in and comes out at the other hole.

I am a doctorate student working with meshless methods for fluid flow. I would like to attend a summer school or workshops that can enrich my knowledge in FSI and meshless methods for FSI. I am performing FSI simulation under abaqus.
The simulation consists in a porous solid (elastic isotrope and homogeneous under Abaqus/explicit) filled by a non newtonian (viscous fluid under Abaqus/CFD). The whole is contained in a cubic shell in order to apply proper boundary condition.
