Multiple PhD and Postdocs positions in the fields of advanced materials and energizing electronics are available immediately at Michigan State University. The multi-disciplinary research topics are including mechanics and applications of soft materials and nanomaterials; bioinspired materials, 3D/4D printing; flexible/stretchable/printed electronics; biomaterials and biomechanics; metamaterials and metasurfaces; soft machines and robotics, composite materials etc.

We have PhD student positions available who are interested in soft tissue biomechanics of the brain. Work will involve developing sophysticated, yet efficient computational models of the human brain to study the mechanisms of brain injury. This work is supported by NIH grants.

In addition, we have openings for visiting students or visiting scholars who have their own funding to stay in the lab.
