Hi All,

We have published an interesting short article on void growth in dual phase titanium alloys. More detailed results are currently under review and will be reported in near future.

PhD position and postdoc positions at the University of Padova, Italy

In the framework of the ERC project FricLess, there are various openings at the University of Padova in Italy: one for a PhD student (three years) and three for postdoctoral researchers.

The project involes building a multiscale model for contact, friction, and solid lubrication.

We are seeking for candidates that have experience with numerical simulations of the type of molecular dynamics, dislocation dynamics, crystal plasticity, finite elements.
