Faculty Position in Solid Mechanics 

There are three Ph.D. positions opening in our group: one in Cell/Tissue Mechanics, one in Mechanics of Energy Storage Materials, and the last in Metamaterials. We would like to fill these positions as soon as in the Spring, 2012. Qualified candidates with a M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline are welcome to apply. Mandatory criteria

-strong C++coding experience

-knowledge of numerical methods

Desirable criteria

-Diffpack experience

-XFEM experience
