2018 SES Conference - Symposium proposal submission

The organizers of the 2018 SES Conference are currently seeking proposals for symposia.

The 2018 SES conference program is grouped in four tracks:

  • Frontiers of Engineering Science,
  • Engineering and Mathematics,
  • Engineering and Physical Sciences, and
  • Engineering and Life Sciences.

A number of thematic symposia will be organized in each track to cover the current state of the art in different areas of Engineering Science as well as at the interface between engineering and different sciences.

The Society of Engineering Science is pleased to announce the award of the 2018 society medals and fellow election:

The 2018 G.I. Taylor Medal of SES is awarded to Howard Stone, Princeton University, for seminal contributions to fluid dynamics research and education, particularly the understanding of low Reynolds number flows, microfluidics, interfacial phenomena, and biological fluid dynamics.
