Hi all,
Is it possible to model stress-strain hysteresis loops (with isotropic or/and kinematic hardening) without using rate quations? For the case of monotonic loading, bilinear or trilinear hardening models can be easily written. But in the case of cyclic loading can the Bauschinger effect be incorporated in a simply manner?
In a paper by Hajjar "Evolution of stress-resultant loading and ultimate strength surfaces in cyclic plasticity of steel wide-flange cross-sections" , such model seems to be used but with no detail of the formulation.
