Does anyone knows how it is possible to partition an edge in one step with multiple points (like multiple datum points or multiple parameter values)? I know how to partition one edge one by one. The problem of doing it one by one is the amount of time that it takes to do that. For example if I want to put 50 points on one edge I have to pick that edge 50 times and partition it, which takes a lot of time.
I am doing the whole process by scripting with Python so I would be glad if the solutions are in scripting format (I am using ABAQUS 2016).

I am working with Pore-pressure cohesive element in abaqus. In this element, I can define laminar fluid flow. However, I was wondering to see if I can change it to turbulent flow?
In these types of elements we use Poiseuille's law to model fluid flow. So the form of it is (qd=K_t*del_p). Is it possible to change this equation to another equation with the same degree of freedom?

I was looking at the articles and Abaqus Documentation and I found viscous regularization az a method to help. Actually I found the papers that firstly introduced this method but I cannot get it very well and I was looking forward to see if anyone can help.
