EMI 2016 & PMC 2016 Conferences

The event to be held on May 22-25, 2016 at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, is actually two co-located conferences: the Engineering Mechanics Institute Conference 2016 (EMI 2016) and the Probabilistic Mechanics & Reliability Conference 2016 (PMC 2016). The event will be chaired by Prof. Sankaran Mahadevan and Prof. Caglar Oskay, both of Vanderbilt University.

CONCREEP-10 Conference - Abstract Submission Deadline is November 30

Dear colleagues,

The CONCREEP-10 Conference "Mechanics and Physics of Creep, Shrinkage, and Durability of Concrete and Concrete Structures" will be held at Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien), Vienna, Austria, September 21-23, 2015.  Please note that the deadline for abstract submission for the CONCREEP-10 conference is November 30, 2014.

CONCREEP-10 Conference

CONCREEP-10,  the 10th Conference on Mechanics and Physics of Creep, Shrinkage and Durability of Concrete and Concrete Structures, will be organized  by the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) in cooperation with the Engineering Mechanics Institute of ASCE (EMI).  The conference will be held on September 21-23, 2015 at the  Vienna University of Technology in Vienna, Austria.  It will be chaired by Prof. Christian Hellmich, Prof. Johann Kollegger, and Prof. Bernhard Pichler, all of TU Wien.

EMI 2015 Conference

EMI 2015, the annual conference of the Engineering Mechanics Institute of ASCE, will be held at Stanford University on June16-19, 2015. It will be chaired by Prof. Ronaldo Borja ( Department of Civil Engineering, Stanford University).

2015 EMI International Conference

The Engineering Mechanics Institute (EMI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will organize the first international conference in Hong Kong. The 2015 EMI International Conference of ASCE will be held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in its beautiful downtown Kowloon campus on January 7-9, 2015 and will be chaired by Prof. K.T. Chau.

 

EMI 2014 Conference To Be Held August 5-8, 2014 at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

 

The 2014 EMI Conference will take place on August 5-8, 2014 at
McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and will be chaired by Prof. Samir E.
Chidiac, Ph.D. P.Eng., Department of Civil Engineering.  The conference
will focus on “Mechanics for Sustainable and Resilient Systems”, a theme
of interest to participants from the disciplines of civil engineering,
mechanical engineering and engineering physics. 

Short Course on Mechanics of Random and Fractal Materials and Structures at the EMI 2013 Conference

Professor Martin Ostoja-Starzewski (University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign) will give a short course on Mechanics of Random and
Fractal Materials and Structures at the EMI 2013 Conference on August 4 at Northwestern

EMI, the Engineering Mechanics Institute of ASCE, will hold its EMI 2013 Conference on August 4-7, 2013 at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.  The conference is chaired by Prof. Gianluca Cusatis and its theme is “Mechanics for Sustainable and Resilient Infrastructures.”   It is hosted by the Civil & Environmental and Mechanical Engineering Departments and the Theoretical & Applied Mechanics Program at Northwestern University.

EMI 2010 Engineering Mechanics Conference at USC, Los Angeles California, August 8-11, 2010

EMI, the Engineering Mechanics Institute of ASCE, will hold its annual conference on August 8-11, 2010 at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA.   Dr. Roger Ghanem (Department of Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering) and Dr. Amy Rechenmacher (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering) will be the Co-chairs of the EMI 2010 Conference.
