EMI 2015, the annual conference of the Engineering Mechanics Institute of ASCE, will be held at Stanford University on June16-19, 2015. It will be chaired by Prof. Ronaldo Borja ( Department of Civil Engineering, Stanford University).
The 2014 EMI Conference will take place on August 5-8, 2014 at
McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and will be chaired by Prof. Samir E.
Chidiac, Ph.D. P.Eng., Department of Civil Engineering. The conference
will focus on “Mechanics for Sustainable and Resilient Systems”, a theme
of interest to participants from the disciplines of civil engineering,
mechanical engineering and engineering physics.
Professor Martin Ostoja-Starzewski (University of Illinois
at Urbana-Champaign) will give a short course on Mechanics of Random and
Fractal Materials and Structures at the EMI 2013 Conference on August 4 at Northwestern

The joint EMI/PMC 2012 conference to
be held on June 17-20, 2012, at the University of Notre Dame, in South
EMI, the Engineering Mechanics Institute of ASCE will hold its annual conference on June 2-4, 2011 at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Prof. Ming L. Wang, Prof. Dionisio P.
