The Journal of Engineering Mechanics (JEM) launches a series of high-profile special issues. The second in the series is dedicated to “Statistical Physics in Structural Mechanics”, guest edited by Mohammad Javad Abdolhosseini Qomi, University of California at Irvine and Andrej Kosmrlj, Princeton University. Submissions will be accepted until June 30, 2022.

ASCE Walter L. Huber Civil Engineering Research Prizes

Prof. Jie LI, Conference Chair, and Prof. Xiaodan REN, Conference Secretariat, invite you, your colleagues and your collaborators to organize a mini-symposium as part of the 2018 EMI International Conference (EMI2018-IC ), which will be held at Tongji University, Shanghai, China, during November 2 - 4, 2018.

In an effort to increase the participation of women and underrepresented groups in the EMI 2018 conference, the National Science Foundation will provide a number of travel assistantships to postdoctoral researchers and junior faculty members from those groups.
