Hi
i want to add a stress relation to abaqus
can i write it in fortran in a way that i can enter specification like c11-c12-....in abaqus then have the calculation of stress in fortran and bring back the result in abaqus to analysis?
hi every body
i want to model microforming processes using crystal plasicity,,, i have Dr huang single crystal code writing in umat inteface,,, i want to model some forming processes i abqus/explicit so i should write or convert above code to VUMAT code ,
can anybody guide me how to do it?
any help would be appreciated
At finite deformations, the 2nd Piola-Kirchhoff stress tensor S_{IJ} is work-conjugate to the Euler-Lagrange strain tensor E_{IJ}, i.e. the work done by the stress S_{IJ} at developing a strain E_{IJ} per unit volume in the reference configuration is
W = 1/2 S_{IJ} E_{IJ} (Einstein summation over repeated indices implied)
I would like to express this in the same form as used in linear elasticity, i.e. to write S_{IJ} = M_{IJKL} E_{KL}, which would give me
W = 1/2 M_{IJKL} E_{IJ} E_{KL}

Hello
brothers
Currently,
I‘m working on the determination of the mechanical properties of carbon nanotubes
for different loading cases using ANSYS software ( i need to use them in my
model). My Finite Element model of graphene and carbon nanotube is working fine with beam188 element, but I have
some technical problems in my simulation. These problem are summarized in
points as follow;
