I  am carrying out (simulation) trials (on computer) myself.

Now I have queries for all of you.

If I want to publish/write journal article on same, how should I move ahead? I want to persue career in domain I am currently working on.

Sincere request for senior professors, colleague out there to guide/help/provide some useful tips.

Thankyou,

how to get the pressure value inside the cohesive element

Submitted by hanrrycn on

I build a water inject model with COH3D8RP element, in the simulation, I can get the pore pressure value around the cohesive element, but I can't the value inside the cohesive element. the pore pressure changed around the cohesive element because of the pressure inside the cohesive element changes, however, I can't get the value of pressure inside the cohesive element.

Anyone can help, pls!

Continuum Modeling of Nonlinear Vibration of Graphene Resonators and Graphene-Based Mass Detection

Submitted by Kilho Eom on

We have employed continuum elastic model such as plate model for understanding the nonlinear vibration behavior of monolayer graphene and graphene resonator-based mass sensing. This work was published in Nanoscale Research Letters (Vol. 7, Art No. 499, 2012).

Crushable Foam Plasticity Model (Abaqus 6.10)

Submitted by Sandip Haldar on

I am trying to perform simulation of Crushable Foam Plasticity model. However, I am getting convergence error

***NOTE: THE SOLUTION APPEARS TO BE DIVERGING. CONVERGENCE IS JUDGED UNLIKELY.

***ERROR: TOO MANY ATTEMPTS MADE FOR THIS INCREMENT

Can someone please help. I have attached the image of Abaqus input data.

Thanks a lot in Advance.
