 Hi all.

Nice to meet you

I have the report on simulation Roll forming process by ABAQUS.

Wish that I can have your valuable comments

Have a nice and happy day

One Post-Doctoral Fellow : High order / curvilinear mesh generation

Submitted by remacle on

There is a growing consensus that state of the art finite volume technology requires, and will continue to require too extensive computational resources to provide the necessary resolution, even at the rate that computational power increases. The requirement for high resolution naturally leads us to consider methods that have a higher order of grid convergence than the classical (formal) 2nd order provided by most industrial grade codes.

Regarding Subroutine

Submitted by vikas sharma on

Hi all

i am new user of Abaqus and as a part of my research i need to define a subroutine for composite plate delamination during drilling.however, i still dont know how to open a subroutine file to write in Fortran language? how can i see the available subroutine files as a guidance? i will appreciate if any one answer to help me by answering my question.

thanks

Buckling analysis using ansys

Submitted by Ajeesh on

Hai all, I am performing shear buckling analysis of plate girdersusing ansys. The ultimate shear buckling strength can be easily obtained by applying concentrated load on the model. My issue is to obtain critical shear buckling strength accurately. Some tutorials tell that critical buckling can be obtained from the load - deflection curve where large deformation is initiated. How can i track values exactly. I there any alternative method to track critical buckling. If anyone finds a solution, please reply......
