PhD positions on modeling of flexoelectricity in Barcelona

We are looking for highly motivated and creative PhD researchers to study electromechanical transduction at the nanoscale. It is well known that by deforming some materials (piezoelectrics) electricity can be produced. What is a relatively new discovery is that by bending any dielectric at the nanoscale, significant electrical signals can also be generated. This is the so-called flexoelectric effect.

Help with abaqus restart analysis from a static analysis to a dynamics explicit

Good morning,

Hope everyone is doing fine this weekend. I have a problem with abaqus stated in the title of this post and hope to find some wisdoms here.

Bascially, I would like to perform a dynamic explicit analysis from a static analysis and I set up the process in CAE as follows:

Step -> restart  requests -> frequency 1.
