my problem is simulation of axisymmetric cold extrusion die. the die is conical, i have to determine die pressure, ram force and temprature in billet as well in die, plz see attached file and see simulation figure, my problem is same as in file,i have facing interaction problem in abaqus while solving this problem. plz help me

From ur problem description as u stated,u have some problem in interaction!!!.U have to give a surface - surface contact at the billet outer surface and the die inner surface so that the simulation mimics the actual condition.U can go to interaction menu in abaqus(i assume u r using it) and select the master surface as the die inner surface(non-deformable surface) and slave as billet outer surface which is obviously a deformable one.Then u can create a additional friction in the interface.

a similar example in the Abaqus manual. Refer the "Extrusion of a cylinder metal bar with friction heat generation".
