In the section “Composites” of the ISD, a postdoc position in the area of damage modeling of composite and layered structures is available from now. Within the section, you will lead a group in the field of modeling and simulation of progressive damage of composite and layered structures. Your activities include acquisition of projects, model development and implementation, advising PhD candidates, and publication in international journals. A good knowledge of the German language is required. More information can be found in the vacancy description attached.

I am interested in the position and I have extensive experience in progressive analysis of composite mateials, however, I do not have knowledge of German language. I was wondering if that requirement can be waived.
