The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a faculty position effective September 1, 2009. The search is open to all ranks depending on qualifications and experience.
Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering or a related field with research and teaching interest in the following area(s): material design/synthesis for sustainable infrastructure (advanced/adaptive materials, bio-materials, enabling or multifunctional engineering materials, materials nano/micro mechanics), civil infrastructure (green design and construction, urban sustainability, water-energy nexus)
