Hi Every one,
I am doing my master thesis in mechanics in the subject of fracture mechanics.Now i need to create a ENF specimen in Abaqus for evaluate my experiment results.I am new to abaqus, so i need your help to create the ENF specimen in abaqus.I have some data to create the model and it is as follows
The ENF specimen in 2D has to model with
1. Adherend - Beam elements(B21).
2. Adhesive layer-two dimensional cohesive elements(COH2D4).
3. 2D-connector elements of type CONN2D2. in between the beam elements and cohesive layer as the both are not fully compatible with each other because the beam elements has 1 rotational d.o.f per node and cohesive elements only have 2 translational d.o.f per node.
If some one help me to create this model in abaqus by STEP-BY-STEP procedure, it will be a great help for me.And if there is any tutorial available kindly please provide me the source to learn.
