Hi everyone ,
I'm Yashaswi Prateek doing by final year project on fracture in composites using ABAQUS. I'm new to ABAQUS and have been trying to do some tutorials to get a better understanding of the software. After basic tutorials , i've started trying to generate a model using cohesive elements where i got stuck up. I have tried the procedure in Abaqus user manual and is showing some errors regarding interaction properties and creating a step. It would be great help if someone could help me regarding how to model with cohesive elements.
The model which i have tried consists of top and bottom ( anti - symmetric ) parts with an opening. i want to model cohesive elements between the parts. if someone could hep me with how to generate this model it would be of great help.
