Research Lab Manager position available at University of Southern California Composites Center

The Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science in the Viterbi School of Engineering at USC is seeking a Research Lab Manager (Lab Technician III) to join Professor Steven Nutt's group for a 2 year fixed term. 

The position oversees and trains students for research experiments in accordance with the laboratory and safety protocols. The candidate will 1) collect laboratory measurements & data, 2) compute results for research procedures, tests & techniques and 3) maintain accurate records of procedures used to conduct experiments. The candidate will be responsible for laboratory equipment in USC's Composites Center and supervise/train graduate and undergraduate engineering students in the use of laboratory instrumentation characterization, microstructural analysis, and mechanical testing composites and lightweight materials.
