A one-year post-doc position is available immediately in the Arruda laboratory at the University of Michigan. The position is renewable, depending on performance. The project involves analytical and computational modeling of non-woven polymer fibrous networks during high strain rate deformation. Applicants should have a strong background in solid mechanics, including plasticity. Knowledge of polymers is a plus.
