Hi Fellows
I am wondering if there are any complete articles available which discuss in detail about the bi-axial strength of ultra high performance concrete under varied stress ratios. Also under equal stress ratios, does the strength will increase or decrease. In case of plain concrete the strength increase was found to be 15 to 20% under equal stress ratio. I have only found one article that discusses biaxial compressive strength of UHPFRC and that is from TU Dresden Germany. I would like to get some help if some one have some more articles available in relation to biaxial strength of UHPFRC.
My second discussion point is about the Dilation Angle.
Is there any experiments that can be conducted on concrete to get parameter called Dilation Angle used in Drucker Prager Plastic Flow potential for concrete damage plasticity model in ABAQUS. Some papers suggest that the value of dilation angle vary between 30 to 40 degrees for concrete. Is this limit also applicable to UHPFRC. How this angle can be determined physically? I mean what lab. experiments should be conducted and how this dilation angle can be related to the experiments.
I would like hear your valuable suggestions and discussions.
