I’ve done researches on composite materials for 5 years, and gained much experiences on failure and damage predictions of different types of composites and structures using a multi-scale approach. I verified my predictions by comparing with the test data. To implement my methods, I developed a suite of software for damage and failure predictions of composites and structures such as wind turbine blades. I also implemented my methods into the user subroutine for the commercial software ABAQUS.
