I am developing a 2D model in Abaqus v13 in order to study the fatigue properties of a plastic material in oxidative atmosphere. I am using the direct cyclic approach and the XFEM technique. When defining the crack propagation direction I can just select:
-direction perpendicular to the element 1-direction
-direction perpendicular to the element 2-direction
-maximum tangential stress criterion
I am wondering how to implement other criteria. I cannot find any specific subroutine able to deal with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
