-The Scientific Group in th Advanced Energy Material Laboratory

 at Sunchon National University has a Post-doctoral fellow opening in the

 area of energy materials

Specific Responsibilitys

-The successful candidates will participate in research activities related to

 rechargeable batteries and supercapacitors. In particular, participants will

 be involved in the development for advanced energy storage materials that

 can be implemented in secondary batteries.

Key Success Factors

-Requires a PhD in Electrochemistry, Material Science or Chemistry within the last

  3 years.

-Knowledge of fundamental electrochemistry and secondary batteries.

-The successful candidate(s) should be able to work efficiently with MS office

 and other data processing softwares.

-Communication skills are essential.

Note

-This is 1-year term appointment with possibility of renewal for up to 3 years

 based upon satisfactory job performance, continuing availability of funds, and

 ongoing operational needs.

 Salary for postdoctoral positions depend on years of experience post-degree.
