one postdoctoral position at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)

Our group has one postdoctoral position opening supported by Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)-Digital Manufacturing and Design Centre (DManD) for a project involving multimaterial stereolithography for 3D/4D printing.

We are seeking self-motivated postdoctoral researchers with a PhD degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronic engineering orrelated fields.

The successful candidate is required to have research experience in:

1. developing codes for analytical and numerical models using MATLAB, Maple, Fortran, or Mathematica

2. mechanical design and modelling with CAD software such as Solidworks and Abaqus

3. programming environments such as LabVIEW, C++

4. electronic design for apparatus construction and optimization.

Monthly Salary: S$ 5,000 - S$5,500.

The Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) is Singapore’s fourth public university, and one of the first universities in the world to incorporate the art and science of design and technology into a multi-disciplinary curriculum. The Digital Manufacturing and Design (DManD) Centre – the Centre will create the frontiers of digital design and manufacturing by bringing together new ideas and state-of-the-art methods in computational and engineering sciences, industrial engineering, architecture, and the humanities, arts, and social sciences. The Centre will pursue technology advances along many fronts and bring them together within a new cyberphysical manufacturing testbed that will facilitate demonstration of design and manufacturing innovations and their rapid exploitation, as well as serve as a unique platform for research.
