Looking for a job position focusing on micromechanical behavior of metallic materials

Submitted by qingge xie on

I am looking for either a faculty position or a scientist position on multi-scale simulation or characterization for metallic materials.

I mainly employ crystal plasticity models (mean field model, full field models) and experimental techaniques (neutron diffraction , neutron imaging, synchrotron based X-ray, EBSD, etc) to study the forming process or in-service performance of metallic materials.

I have programed ABAQUS/UMAT, ABAQUS/VUMAT and a home-made finite element program using crystal plasticity theory, I am now preparing a code for meso-scale microstructure prediction for a large part made by selective laser melting (home-made code) and meso-scale microstructure due to cold spray (ABAQUS/VUMAT).

I have published more than 50 journal papers. My research profle can be found in researchgate at : https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Qingge-Xie-2   or GoogleScholar: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=SHa5MDwAAAAJ&hl=en

Thank you for reading my post.  My CV is in the attachment.  It you have some position or information, please contact me by sending me an email: xqg1084 [at] 126.com.
