57th meeting of the Society for Natural Philosophy, Paris, France

Dear Fellow Mechanicians,

We are excited to announce that the Society for Natural Philosophy, originally founded by Clifford Truesdell in 1963, will hold its annual meeting in Paris from October 16 to 18, 2023. The Society is devoted to the unity of the mathematical and physical sciences, and this year's conference will particularly focus on the following topics:

  • Generalized Continua
  • Complex Materials
  • Architected Materials
  • Mechanics of Biological Systems
  • Amorphous, Glassy, and Granular Systems

If you are interested in contributing, we welcome one-page proposals. Please submit your proposal by July 3, 2023 to the following email address:

gsa@paris-malaquais.archi.fr

The conference venue is the magnificent Ecole d'Architecture Paris-Malaquais, which offers a unique ambiance conducive to knowledge sharing and networking.
