With a few motivated colleagues, since two years we have been working on the creation of a new journal in mechanics. Our main motivation was to create a journal, which would be completely free for authors and readers, a high quality journal free of any commercial interest. And the work on the journal is almost completed, its title is

We have a permanent position (equiv. Associate/Full Professor) opening in the field of Computational Mechanics of Materials and Structures.

Location: Centre des Materiaux, MINES ParisTech, Paris/Evry, France. All details are in the attached file.

The Centre for Material Sciences (MINES ParisTech) opens a new master program (450h of courses + internship in the industry). The majority of courses are tought in French, so this program might interest french students finishing their master courses this summer (2015) or french-speaking foreign students holding a degree equivalent to the french master. We are looking for motivated candidates!

Call for postdoctoral applications in solid mechanics
