2nd Workshop on Thermodynamics of Fatigue Process

Submitted by pragtic on

We did it some 16 months ago - the 1st volume of this new online workshop was run without any budget and without any costs. Simply, a meeting place for researchers focused on a similar topic, and willing to share their experience with a broad auditorium. The content still can be found on our website, including records from all lectures.

Now we are running a call for those of you, who would be interested to join us (for free, how else) for the second time, be it in passive or active mode. But the first action needed is to choose the optimum date. So, if you are interested in what is going on there, or you want to present your outputs, please vote in this Doodle poll:

https://doodle.com/meeting/organize/id/bkD1nxYd.

Please fill in your preference on Tuesday October 29 at latest, so that I can make the decision on Wednesday.

An important part of the workshop will be a discussion on the currently prepared 1st Winter School on Thermodynamics of Fatigue Process. I would like to thank Raffaella Sesana, Francesca Cura and Luca Corsaro for their admirable support of this plan and their willingness to run it in Politecnico di Torino, Italy. We have discussed that the most convenient time would be Tuesdays-Thursdays of weeks in the second half of February. But take this as just a preliminary info - if you would be interested to come as a attendant or as a lecturer, let me know, but even better - join us at the workshop above.
