Has anyone used ABAQUS V 6.9 ? Can you please ratify if there is a feature in there which allows specification of cohesive properties when specifying surface to surface to contact itself ? I have not seen it and I'd really like someone to clarify. I always had the impression that you need cohesive elements and cohesive sections with either a continuum or traction-separation response. Has someone actually plugged this into the Interaction module when specifying contact ? Can this even be done ? Is there anything at all in 6.9 that makes cohesive property specification different than how we've been doing it so far ?
