PhD position in Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics for Coastal FSI at Stony Brook University

A fully supported PhD position in Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) for coastal fluid-structure interaction (FSI) is available in the Department of Civil Engineering at Stony Brook University. The successful applicant will work under the supervision of Dr. George Moutsanidis focusing on the development of numerical methods for coastal FSI. The desired start date is Fall 2024.

Minimum Qualifications:

·       MS degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field

JRF position available in CFD and FSI at Shiv Nadar University

Applications are invited for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a sponsored project involves CFD study of Bio-inspired Underwater Vehicle in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Shiv Nadar University. The project deals with modeling and simulation and developing a fluid-solid integrated model for the biomimetic underwater vehicle. The position is temporary and is available immediately. The candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply, and successful candidate may be allowed to register for Ph.D. in MED of the University.
