Postdoc position in Denmark, DTU Wind: Computational modelling of life extension and maintenance of wind blades

Submitted by Leon Mishnaevsky on

Postdoctoral position in Computational modelling of life extension and maintenance of composite blades of wind turbines, at DTU Wind.

Wind turbines are decommissioned after 20...25 years of service. However, blades can be potentially exploited for 50 or more years. How to predict and extend the lifetime of wind turbine blades? How to optimize repair of blades, to ensure their extended lifetime?
