We are seeking to recruit a PhD student with full financial support in the form of research assistant/teaching assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Binghamton University (SUNY), starting Fall 2023 or Spring 2024. The student will work in a diverse and inclusive research team and collaborate with experimentalists at the University of Minnesota, UC Riverside, Rutgers University. A short 5-month postdoc position is available in my Computational Biomechanics Research Group at the University of Glasgow. The project is aimed at combining image segmentation with biomechanical calculations and requires experience in scientific code development and nonlinear biomechanics.
