Sliding motion simulation

Is it possible to simulate the sliding motion between master and slave surfaces and extract the inertia forces exerted by the master surface motion transferred on to the slave surface similar to

we have one machine base on which mass will slide with a certain velocity,due to friction between linear motion guides and mass,inertia force will be transmitted to the base,
