Hi guys,

I am all new user to deform 3d. from the past month i managed to learn a bit of that. now i can deform a sheet into a cup using a punch and die set. problem is there are wrinkles on the cup. how to apply blank holder force. Can any body explain in detail. plz help me so that i can finish my project.

i am using Deform 3D for my analysis but wats the problem in this software i cant input the material properties,flow stress of the material so the validation with theoritical becomes difficult so if anybody doe know about this how to input the matl pproperties and force of the press please help me

 I am trying to model the flow of metal in extrusion through a porthole die in DEFORM 3D .The extruded legs come into contact with each other the process requires manual removal of the contacting surfaces.Is the removal of surfaces possible and how?

Hi all,

I am new to DEFORM 3D and I am intended to simulate the effect of coolant pressure on the chip formation in metal cutting.

I dont know how to incorporate the mechanical effect of coolant pressure on chip formation in machining.

Are there any standard options in DEFORM 3D, which I can use to simulate the same?.

If not, will writing a user subroutine in DEFORM help me to simulate the same?. If the user subroutine, is the only way to do so, I would like to get some material on writing user subroutine in DEFORM 3D?.
