Hello,
I am desperately looking for Postdoc position especially from abroad in the fields of Impact Mechanics, Ballistic load analysis, FRP composite structure, Fracture Mechanics, Numerical modelling and Experimentation etc.
I have completed my Ph.D. with major, "Impact load analysis of FRP composite structure" from Civil Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in June 2017. I have published 10 SCI/Scopus Indexed journal papers with total impact factor 17.0.
Candidates are sought for multiple postdoctoral positions in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University in the following three areas:
•Multiscale materials modeling. Expertise bridging across length scales is preferred (e.g. linking atomistic and phase field models, crystal plasticity and continuum models, etc.)
•Metal processing. Expertise in processing of multiphase metal composites is preferred (e.g. by severe plastic deformation, metal additive manufacturing, etc.).

With more than 50,000 talented employees working in over 80 countries, Halliburton is one of the world’s largest providers of innovative products and services to the oil and gas industry. Halliburton adds value through the entire lifecycle of a reservoir – exploration, development, production, operations, maintenance, conversion, refining, infrastructure, and abandonment.
The Computational Materials and Mechanics Group (CMMG) at the University of Connecticut has an opening for a postdoctoral researcher in modeling of behavior of materials at the atomic scales starting Fall 2018. The student/postdoctoral researcher will work on the development and application of atomistic modeling methods (density functional theory, molecular dynamics) to investigate the links between atomic scale microstructure and the properties/performance of materials under various operating conditions.
Postdoctoral Researcher: Required Qualifications:
We in Aalto University School of Engineering are looking for a doctoral student to work on numerical modelling of fragmentation of quasi-brittle materials. In more detail, you will study breakage and fragmentation of ice blocks. These phenomena occur under compressive loads in ice block to ice block contacts. The fragmentation process is complicated, and requires novel numerical modelling techniques. Modelling may need to be done on different scales, which may have to reach from very high resolution modeling to simplified contact models on larger scale.
