Postdoctoral Position in Topological Mechanics

Submitted by Harold S. Park on

I am looking to recruit a high motivated and independent postdoctoral researcher to study, through theoretical and computational approaches, various topics related to the topological mechanics of solids, including phononic topological insulators, odd elasticity, and non-Hermitian mechanics.  The position is available for an initial 8-month duration, with possible extension to 24 moths depending on availability of funding.  The position is available immediately.

Preferred qualifications for the postdoc position include:

Postdoc position in Bazant Group at MIT

Submitted by Juner Zhu on

The Bazant group at MIT Chemical Engineering (http://bazantgroup.mit.edu/) is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate in the area of experimental characterization of batteries. Candidates who are skilled in battery electrode/cell manufacturing, battery analyzing, electrode material characterization, and acoustic and/or mechanical assessments are encouraged to apply by sending a CV to Dr. Juner Zhu (zhujuner [at] mit.edu).

Postdoctoral Associate Position in the area of machine learning for solid-state batteries

Submitted by Juner Zhu on

Our team led by Professor Tomasz Wierzbicki at MIT Mechanical Engineering is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate in the area of machine learning for solid-state batteries. The candidate is expected to develop machine-learning-based computational tools for the characterization of the interfacial failure in Li-metal all-solid-state batteries. Candidates who have experience in physics-informed machine learning, computational and solid mechanics, multiphysics modeling, and all-solid-state batteries are encouraged to apply by sending a CV to Dr.
