Hello There

I as a student of master of structural engineering, try to do a project on simulating the effect of explosion on the concrete by using LS-DYNA as the hydrocode.

I've a problem running my model, that is an error by means of insufficient memory (about 900,000,000 words short), and I'm not able to increase it beyond 300,000,000. Then if there is anything that could help I'll be very appreciated if you could announce.

i am new to ANSYS. i wanted to simulate transient curing,i don know how import the heat generation term? if any one familier with this plz suggest me the steps,tutorials etc.

All I am trying to model reinforced concrete column.I am using concrete damaged placity model.I used truss element for main reinforcement and ties .All main reinforcement and ties are embeded in concrete column.I need the following answer.

1-How ties confine the concrete column.

2-How can I apply the cyclic loading.

Please could you provide me any help in this regard.

Can anyone shed some light on this particular error?

ABAQUS Error: The executable /app2/6.6-1/exec/standard.exe

aborted with system error "Illegal floating point operation" (signal 8).

Is there a possible reason for this error as I have gone through my code many times and dont find any suspicious statements that could lead to this error.  

This occured when I was running my analysis with a USDFLD and MPC subroutine
