The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Virginia seeks candidates for two Research Associate positions to assist in experimental mechanics and advanced materials in Professor Xiaodong (Chris) Li's lab.

The research associates are expected to perform materials synthesis, coating and composite testing, microstructural and mechanical characterization, and finite element analysis, write reports and technical papers.
