We'd like to announce an upcoming short course in Enriched Finite Element Methods at the 13th World Congress in Computational Mechanics (http://www.wccm2018.org/). The course will be held on Sunday 22nd July at the New York Marriott Marquis hotel.

PhD position in multiscale modeling of polymer composite degradation

Applications are invited for one PhD position (4 years) in the area of of multiscale modeling of polymer composite degradation at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

The successful applicant will work with Dr. Angelo Simone (Computational Mechanics of Materials Group) on a project funded by the Technology Foundation STW through the High Tech Materials program. The position is to commence in spring 2016 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Applications are invited for one PhD position (4 years) in the area of atomistic-based modelling of polymer composite degradation at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

The successful applicants will work with Dr. Angelo Simone on a project funded by the European Research Council through the ERC Consolidator grant StruBa (Computational Modelling of Structural Batteries). The positions are to commence in May 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter.
